To send and receive transfers with SWAPY, you need to have a verified account. Here we will tell you how to complete your User profile.

Step 1

Fill in User Personal Data.

1. Enter your last name, first name and middle name (if any) as in your ID document.

2. Enter your date of birth. 

3. Your residential address should match information provided in your identity document.

Click the "Next" button to proceed to the next step.

Step 2

Fill in Identity Document Details.

The system will prompt you which identity document you need to add. Please follow the on-screen instructions. 

1. Select country of the document issuance 

2. Specify type of the document - passport, residence permit, identification card (ID) or international passport (the list will vary from country to country)

3. Fill in the details of your identity document in the appropriate fields.

4. Attach a scan copy or photo of your ID document. Some documents require you to attach copies of both sides, such as an ID card. Make sure the attached copy is of high quality and allows to read all the information on the document. Attachments should be no larger than 25 MB in PDF, JPG, PNG format.

5. Click the "Add" button

The system will automatically notify you if additional documents need to be attached for profile verification.

IMPORTANT: A driver's license cannot be used as an identification document.

Click the "Next" button to proceed to the next step.

Step 3

Fill in Bank Account Details

To receive transfers from other users, as well as transfers to your own account, you need to add your Bank accounts details.

1. Click the "Add Bank Account" button and in the opened window select the country of the bank account to be added from the list.

2. Fill in all fields of bank details of your account.

IMPORTANT: Only accounts opened in your name can be added.

• Do not add bank accounts belonging to other people to your profile. If you need to make a transfer to another person, use the Transfer to another person option.

Note that when you add a new bank account, the option to accept funds to that account from other SWAPY users is selected by default. If you do not want to receive transfers to this account, uncheck this option. Read more in the Priority Accounts article.

Click the "Add" button to save the data.

• If you are going to send money to other users' accounts and do not plan to receive transfers, you can skip this step.

SUBMITTING PROFILE FOR VERIFICATION

Once all the profile details have been filled in, click the "Done" button.

In the window that appears, enter your valid password and click "Confirm"

Now your data has been sent for verification by the Compliance Department of Swapy.

You can attach your photo as your profile avatar.
