STEP-BY-STEP TRANSFERRING FUNDS WITH SWAPY

Step 1: Create a transfer request

Use the New Transfer page to create a transfer request. You can read more about it here:

Fill in all the details of the transfer and press "Publish". A transfer request with the status "Published" will appear in My Transfers page.

Your published transfer request will be available for acceptance by Swapy users worldwide.

If you are not familiar with how escrow transfers work, please read this material.

Step 2: Your request is accepted

When one of Swapy users will accept your transfer request or Swapy will automatically find you a transfer partner, the platform will generate all necessary agreements for the transfer of funds in your profile.

To learn how to accept published transfers of other users, please read the article Quick transfer.

Step 3. Sign documents

To continue with the transfer of funds, please go to My Transfers page and find a transfer preview card with the status "Sign".

Clicking on the card will take you to the Document Signing page.

You will find an agreement between the users involved in the transfer and escrow service agreements with Swapy.

Now check the documents and sign them. To do this, click the "Sign" button and enter a valid password.

Step 4: Transfer funds to Swapy account

After both transfer partners have signed the agreements, you need to make a transfer of funds to the Swapy escrow account.

  • Important: You need to transfer funds within 24 hours. After this period expires, your transfer will be automatically suspended.

You can download the invoice with Swapy bank account details on the transfer page. To do this, in the "My Transfers" page, open the preview card of the transfer with a Timer indicating the time remaining to make the transfer.

Clicking on the card will take you to the Payment Confirmation page, where you will see the details of the transfer, all signed documents, as well as the Bank Details for transferring funds to the Swapy escrow account, which can be downloaded as a separate file in the form of an Invoice.

Step 5: Attach transfer confirmation document (or payment receipt)

After making the transfer to the Swapy escrow account, be sure to attach a confirmation document from your bank: payment order, receipt or a screenshot of the transfer from your online (mobile) bank.

To do this, click the "Attach document" button on the transfer page, download the file and confirm sending by clicking the "Send" button, as shown in the picture.

In this way you have confirmed the transfer of funds to the Swapy escrow account.

Step 6: Transfer execution

After you have confirmed the transfer of funds to the Swapy escrow account, the status of your transfer in the “My Transfers” page will change to "Transfer awaited" - this means that we are waiting for your funds to be credited to the escrow agent account.

  • The speed at which your funds reach the Swapy escrow account depends solely on the sending bank. When sending funds, please take into account the standard regulations for money transfers in your country, as well as weekends and holidays. Most banks only process transfers on weekdays.

"Transfer Received" status means that your funds have been credited to the escrow agent account.

  • Swapy Service guarantees security and full refund of clients' funds in case your transfer will be cancelled, so the funds will be sent to the destination account specified by after your partner's funds are credited to the Swapy escrow account.

"Transfer Sent" status means that the escrow agent has made a transfer of funds to the bank account specified by you for receiving funds.

  • The term of transfer execution is 1-2 business days from the moment your funds are credited to the escrow agent account.

"Transfer Executed" status means that we have received a notification from your bank that the funds have been received by it.
